What are Stillages?
Stillages are specifically tailored pallets or skids which give support to items when they need to be transported or carried. Many stillages utilise a cage or have solid sides and they are often stackable. Others also have specific types of finish – such as galvanisation to ensure durability or the addition of coasters which gives extra movement.
Steel stillages are known for being particularly sturdy and strong. They have good longevity which appeals to many businesses as they will not have to buy others for a long time after they purchase.
Stillages main use is to safely and efficiently transport goods without any damage coming to the items. Steel stillages are about to transfer heavy loads as this is a strong material, unlike wood and plastic. Types of Stillages
Post-Pallet Stillages
Post-pallets are like the traditional types of pallets except they have posts attached at each corner (when square or rectangular). The strength given by using steel means that the posts can be stacked to utilise all the space available. This would not be possible with wooden pallets as they would likely break or collapse under too much weight.
Automotive Stillages
Automotive stillages is another domain which we dominate in the stillages industry. We produce a wide range of automotive stillages.
